Zenon Dance Company

November 22, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Zenon’s 33rd Fall Season will inspire and excite new and veteran dance audiences alike. This vibrant, enthralling program promises to challenge the limits of dance.

Highlights of this performance include not one, but two world premieres. Riveting new work by New York post-modern choreographer and “Bessie” Award winner Joanna Kotze, whose work brings "vivid, chaotic, unexpected, moments of subtlety and unbridled hamminess, joyful and reserved" (D.C. Dance Watcher), premieres alongside an arresting new modern piece by inter-continental choreographer Stefanie Batten Bland, created while immersed in the lively influences of the Mediterranean region during Zenon’s fall 2015 residency in Cassis, France- “...there are few choreographers as intellectually ambitious as Stefanie Batten Bland.” (New York Resident Magazine, April 2013)

As one of the nation’s premier repertory companies, Zenon captivates audiences with a rare and dynamic blend of modern and jazz dance.
